Still Green finds the perfect location in Collier County
Set and filmed in Collier County, Still Green is a controversial teen drama starring Sarah Jones (Big Love, Huff), Noah Segan (Brick, The Brothers Bloom), Ryan Kelley (Smallville, Mean Creak), and Douglas Spain (Band of Brothers, But I’m a Cheerleader). This independent film also stars 6 upcoming young actors from Naples, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale.

Still Green is about ten best friends who rent a beach house for one last week before separating for college. An accident in the Gulf of Mexico changes and tests their friendship. The teenagers respond to the tragedy in a way some people find disturbing and others see as an act of true brotherhood.

Still Green was shot in the summer of 2005 in Naples proper and in a house right on the gulf coast. Cinematographer Brian Crane (House MD) was enchanted by the unique natural beauty of Collier County. He has captured the magic of south central Florida’s ocean in a way that has received generous praise from the test audiences and many industry professionals. The shots of the ocean in Still Green are one of the aspects most noticed about the film.

The stunning visuals in Still Green are a testament to the locations and scenery in Collier County, which can’t be found anywhere else in the country. The filmmakers found the local cast and crew, the community, and the press to be extremely supportive and look forward to shooting more features in Collier County.
